All nuts are healthy and are an especially important part of our nutrition. Almonds are by most of us well known to be of major importance What I want to remind you about in this short mail is that one should not forget pistachio’s [ known as fistukim in Israel.] They are probably capable of helping open closed blood vessels and they may be one of the few foods, I think, which can bring down the level of Lp(a), a very problematic fat
If it is high in a blood test it may be a significant risk factor for heart disease, strokes and more.
But if you have an elevated level of lipoprotein [a], then don’t get overly worried but adopt the healthiest lifestyle you can.
Should we eat the pistachio raw or roasted? In general, which is the better way to eat nuts, raw or roasted?

Except for almonds, walnuts and Brazilian nuts, I would suggest SLIGHTLY roasting other nuts
