When I started working in Gilo around 1980 I got a few patients from Beitlechem and Beit Yala.
One patient brought me a bottle of Ketzach oil [I was not familiar with that until then and he told me that I should advise this to all patients with pain, to rub in. He highly praised it.
For many years I am now using ketzach also internally for all kinds of reasons, also for asthma and as excellent option for allergies. I wrote before what the Koran says about Ketzach.
If I may “vent” my-non political feelings- then I think that our medical arrogance has closed doors for one field which could have been flourishing: examing Arabic traditional medicine and integrating it in our highly technical Israeli medical arsenal. We could have raised their self esteem [with good reasons] and may have tremendously benefitted from it as well.
May this day still arrive…..! The same is true for Iranian traditional medicine.
