There is so much to do to prevent this or prevent worsening, and it is penny-wise but pound-foolish not to consult a doctor who understands what can be done Too many patients I already advised about special tooth drops and also about Co-enzyme. There is one single toothpaste which I advise which contains folic acid. It has been shown that locally applied folic acid can be quite beneficial for gingivitis; this could be done as a mouth wash but using a tiny bit of the toothpaste is probably the easiest way.

The only toothpaste I am aware of with folic acid is :Life Extension, Toothpaste, Natural Mint Flavor, 4 oz (113.4 g)

There is much more to do than what I suggested just now. Don’t wait until you reach the stage of damage control.
