good to hear this I come from Argentina and we drink mate all the time there and I drink “mate cocido” (cooked mate in teabags) here in Israel too (not with a straw but directly from a cup) and these last days I heard rumors that it can cause the machala chas veshalom I think this is only because many people drink it burning from the “bombilla” (straw), not from the leaves themselves toda raba!
