Calendula tea has been used for fevers and conjunctivitis and for its antispasmodic effects.

Clinical Uses
Calendula ointment or cream is used externally for wound healing, for skin irritations and for acne [especially calendula soap] It may prevent nasty scars.

Side Effects and contraindications
None are known.
Safe in pregnancy and so of course during breastfeeding.
Calendula is also used in homoeopathy.
In high potency [ D 30 or so] it may dramatically help in the healing of wound infections [Morrison]
