Many Israelis already know about the use of turmeric. Some 40 years ago, many Ashkenzim never had used turmeric before. Much has changed!
What I would like to stress here is that turmeric [ “curcumin”] as sold and advertised in many supplements, may be “really just like a conventional medicine”, far too concentrated to be considered without risks in the long run!+
Just an example: [copied from the Internet]
- 750 mg Curcumin Complex
- Up to 500 Times Stronger Than Turmeric
How can 500 stronger still be considered safe??
Curcum [Turmeric] in food is [virtulally] always safe! Turmeric is best taken with some fat, for example by just light frying [le-hashchim–browning]]it with some olive oil and then lightly frying some pulses[kidniot] in this mixture of oil and turmeric [le-havir be-machvat] Half a teaspoon will do!
