Brought in Chines acupuncture -“L’Acuponcture Chinoise”, – by Soulie de Morant [see attachment]
Yang and yin produce each other reciprocally. The more opposite they are, the more they attract each other; the closer they are, the more they reject each other. Eggs are always divided into long eggs (yin) and round eggs (yang).
The embryo of long eggs are male and those of round eggs are female, because yin produces its opposite, yang, and yang produces its opposite, yin. Women (yin) produce round ovum (yang) and men (yang) produce long sperm (yin).
To obtain a female child, one eats excessive amounts of yang foods charged with sodium (yang).
To obtain a
male child one eats excessive amounts of yin foods charged with potassium (yin).
George Soulié de Morant (1878–1955) was a French diplomat, sinologist, and acupuncturist. He is best known for introducing acupuncture to the Western world and for his book “L’Acuponcture Chinoise”. Here are some key points about Soulié de Morant:
Soulié de Morant was a French diplomat who served in China in the early 1900s.
During his time in China, he became interested in acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
He studied acupuncture with Chinese practitioners and eventually became an expert in the field.
Soulié de Morant is credited with introducing acupuncture to the Western world through his book “L’Acuponcture Chinoise”, which was first published in French in 1934.
In his book, Soulié de Morant described the principles and techniques of acupuncture as he had learned them from Chinese practitioners.
Soulié de Morant also translated many Chinese medical texts into French and wrote extensively about Chinese culture and philosophy.
Despite some controversy and criticism of his work, Soulié de Morant is considered a pioneer in the field of acupuncture and helped to popularize the practice in the West.
