3 easy to get herbs for PMS are:
Evening Primrose oil 1000 mg caps.1 0r 2 per day
Dong Quai 1000 mg 2 per day
Valeriana: 100 mg 2-3 times per day [may cause some sleepiness!]
To start a few days or more before the expected menstruation.
Primrose oil can be taken for extended periods.
By Primrose, oil wish is hexane-free/solvent free.
Example of a good brand:
Borage oil has 3 times more GLA – but it’s harder to find.

Thanks,I realize that you like borage oil. Fine but it should be from a very good company and then even so one should be a bit careful because of the pyrrolizidine alkaloids. This is more of a concern if it is a highly concentrated product[oil] Tussilago herb also contains these compounds but it has been used for ages [lungs] safely until this was discovered. A potent extract from tussilago can be a problem but the herb itself is most likely safe even if this has been doubted by modern scientists. I saw that Lifeextesion,Twinlab, nature’s way borage oils were tested at least. I agree this oil is very useful!
