probably heavily under reported

I have now seen 2 young to middle-aged men with a most unusual UTI.[with high fever and malaise]

One of them was prescribed an antibiotic by his doctor -which is nearly always prescribed for urinary tract infections, without any results.

Also, one woman [where UTI] are common but in her case it was rare.

The 2 cases of the male population led me to look for the literature and I am sending you the link.

I am quite sure that in Israel probably more cases [of men ] are treated as UTI as if this is “normal”….[indeed extreme rare for healthy men to get UTI.
