This coming Shabbat will be reading-B”H- parashat Ekev [Deuteronomium 7:22] where one of the verses literally describes what we SAW, maybe the first time in our modern society.

כב  וְנָשַׁל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת-הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵל, מִפָּנֶיךָ–מְעַט מְעָט:  לֹא תוּכַל כַּלֹּתָם מַהֵר, פֶּן-תִּרְבֶּה עָלֶיךָ חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה.22 And the LORD thy God will cast out those nations before thee by little and little; thou mayest not consume them quickly, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

So the Tora story became less “theoretically”
