Two very important spices/herbs: Marjoram [Marjoran] and Oregano.

There is quite a bit of confusion between these herbs

I just sent a mail about the Latin name of herbs. Both marjoram and oregano are in the mint family and the genus of both is: Origanum

So we have:Origanum marjorana= marjoram and Origanum vulgare = oregano
