What is the connection between Adam [the first human being] and Moses [Moshe]
Moses heard via direct tradition[from mouth to mouth ] about Adam and not via written history!!!!
From the Bible [Tora] on can deduct the following: [according to the ages all the described biblical persons reached]
Abraham saw Noach who in turn saw Lamech and who had seen Adam [ a total of 4 people!]
Mozes who wrote the Tora saw Kehat who saw Jacob who saw Abraham.
Thus totally no more than 7 people who carried the tradition firsthand from Adam to Moses [a word of mouth tradition]
[the Bible commentator Abarbanel quoted by Artscroll Bereshit]]
Maybe hard to believe but true as you can see.
