Today I heard an amazing explanation of human nature. It is very hard for all human beings to say full heartily: this is my fault.
We will always tend to blame others or circumstances for our wrongdoings or failures.
The Tora[and the misdrash] is speaking about Cain who killed his brother Hevel.
Everyone knows the answer he gave to G-d when he was asked where his brother is:
Genesis4:9 Hashem said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
As Anochi is the first word of the 10 commandments [I…] and stands for G-d you may now understand the amazing text of the attachment i am sending you where Cain-according to the midrash accuses G-d of the fact that he was able to kill Hevel
You -G-d-[=Anochi] should have been watching over me[you should have been the gate-keeper]so that I would not have killed Hevel. Th Keeper, You!!
